Testing & Validation
The Fire Science Laboratory of Worcester Polytechnic Institute conducted tests on Cape Cod Fire Logs to evaluate their burn duration, heat production, smoke and emissions production, and utility. This independent testing confirmed that Cape Cod Fire Logs:
- Burn up to three times longer and hotter than cordwood and up to 22% longer than leading manufactured firelogs
- Produce negligible amounts of smoke compared with cordwood and the leading manufactured firelogs
